Our corrosion protection portfolio consists of solvent-based or water-miscible products, each with dewatering properties as required. Film properties, storage duration, and storage location determine the product selection.
The portfolio covers storage periods from a few days between two process steps to many months including sea transport.
The corrosion protection film is selected based on the storage situation and any subsequent cleaning. It can range from an extremely thin, micromolecular layer to a thick, waxy layer.
When passivating surfaces exposed to aqueous media, a dewatering additive can displace the corrosion-promoting water.
Water-emulsifiable rust protection concentrates are used for metal or cast parts stored indoors. The protection period can range from 2 to 12 months.
